This October learn the skills to support those around you with Mental Health First Aid. CMHA North Bay and District will be offering a two half-day virtual course on October 29 – 30, 2024, from 9am – 12:30 pm. Registration can be completed HERE
Just like traditional first aid, Mental Health First Aid equips you to recognize possible signs of distress and provide immediate support until professional help is available.
Cost for the course is $220 CAD.

Course Structure:
Module 1 (pre-work- approx. 2 hours):
The course begins with a self-directed module (Module 1) which is completed prior to the in-class training. The module focuses on information and strategies that participants will be discussed and practiced throughout the in-class training (Modules 2 and 3). Participants are required to complete Module 1 before participating in Modules 2 and 3.. Access code for the online learning management system to complete Module 1 will be provided to confirmed registrants approx. 1 – 2 week prior to training.
Module 2 (Day 1) and Module 3 (Day2) :
Facilitated virtually and is completed over 2 half days (3.5 hours).
