Some important information on Supportive Housing from our colleagues at CMHA Thames Valley Addiction & Mental Health Services.Supportive Housing is Health Care.
At CMHA TVAMHS, we know that housing is a critical part of recovery and wellness. Our Highly Supportive Housing programs provide much more than a roof. They include round-the-clock staff on-site 24/7, 365 days a year, helping tenants manage their mental health, stay connected to care, and live with dignity and stability.
These programs provide a long-term solution for people who need both a home and mental health and addiction supports to thrive. Our programs are evidence-informed and help create healthier communities by reducing emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and police interactions.
